Representatives from SISFU’s international academic partners were the special guests in the institution’s graduation ceremonies last August 17 at the Insular Life Auditorium in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
It was a heady if poignant moment for teachers, academic heads, parents and students alike as the latter moved from one challenging phase of their lives into another.
Showing strong support while reminding all present of the excellent global standards that have made SISFU unique among other academic institutions were the following VIPs representing various prestigious foreign educational institutions that have partnered with SISFU in bringing the best global education to the Philippines:
Dr. Chris Haslam, Pro Vice-Chancellor, University of Chester; Dr. Ian Whyte, Principal, International College of Hotel Management; Mr. Colin Taylerson, Principal Assistant Registrar, University of Chester; Mr. Stephen Whewell, Head of Section, Resource Management, University of Chester; and Mr. Simon Young, Regional Director for Southeast Pacific Pearson/Edexcel.
Also present during the commencement ceremonies were Dr. Genevieve Ledesma-Tan, Chief Executive Mentor, the Southville Global Education Network; Dr. Melva Diamante, President, SISFU; Mr. Roger Bartholomew, Chairman, SISFU; Ms. Carol Pido, Dean of the School of Hospitality Management; and Gordon Stevenson, Dean of the School of Business.
