WOFEX, SMX Convention Centre - the Philippine Culinary Cup is one of the grandest and prestigious annual culinary competition that gathers different blends of chefs, both aspiring and professional, to compete in an intense and world class culinary clash.
Contestants were given a time period to prepare and finish their cuisine.
"As a student, the experience was overwhelming because it was my first time to join such prestigious competition. It was also a confidence builder as I was competing against professional chefs. It was a good exposure for working under pressure. I will never forget this amazing experience. Winning an award was just a bonus as the experience was unforgettable."
With over 70 competitors and being judged according to taste and creativity, bagging a silver award for the ‘Australian Lamb’ category was SISFU’s culinary student, Felicia Ken Mardo.
