SISFU participates in the Australian International Education Conference in Melbourne as part of the Philippine delegation of university presidents organized by the Commission on Higher Education Featured


Dr. Jocelyn Tizon, President of the Southville International School Affiliated with Foreign Universities (SISFU), attended the prestigious Australian International Education Conference (AIEC) in Melbourne, Australia, from October 22-25, 2024. SISFU has a long and proud history of fostering Transnational Education (TNE) partnerships with leading Australian Higher Education Institutions, including Macquarie University, James Cook University, and Southern Cross University. These partnerships have provided SISFU students with invaluable opportunities for global education, preparing them to excel in the international landscape.

Aligned with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s call to internationalize Philippine HEIs, the mission seeks to identify areas for collaboration, particularly in producing globally competitive professionals. CHED Chairperson J. Prospero de Vera III, who participated in the delegation meeting with the Philippine Ambassador to Australia Ma. Hellen De La Vega, emphasized the importance of this international mission in producing world-class professionals in various fields.
