Multi-awarded Resource Speaker and Research Paper in Dubai
Last October 25-27, 2024, Dr. Melva Diamante, SISFU Chairman and SGEN Director for Research attended a conference entitled Breaking Barriers: Exploring Frontiers of Sustainability, Innovation and Technology in Business, Education and Social Sciences in Deira, Dubai, UAE. The conference was sponsored by Dubai-based Optimal Consulting and Research Center. During this conference, Dr. Diamante earned awards for “Best Paper Award (Business Track)” and “Best in Oral Presentation (Set D-Business)”.
Dr. Diamante’s valuable research on The Impact of Work-From-Home and Onsite Work on Employee Productivity: A Post-Pandemic Productivity Model. Her presentation included valuable insight on the impacts and challenges brought about by the changing work arrangements which she conducted herself along with colleagues Mr. Daniel Steel, SISFU’s Dean of Academics and Dr. Ma. Xenia Bitera of the Lyceum of the Philippines, Batangas.
The conference was well-attended by hundreds of professionals, entrepreneurs, and company executives from across the globe seeking continuing knowledge and improvements in their various fields of practice. There were also a number of acclaimed presenters from different universities and private institutions worldwide.
During the international conference, Dr. Diamante was also able to network on behalf of SISFU and the Philippines. Through her efforts, a professor of business and a well-published researcher from the Canadian University in Dubai has agreed to be an additional editor for SISFU’s SGEN Research Review. This is a great addition to the current SGEN Research Review’s editorial board which includes representatives from: the UK, USA, Guam, Malaysia and Holland.
