On November 18, 2022, Friday, the Digital Alliance (DA) held their first General Assembly. The event, hosted by two energetic hosts, was brimming with excitement and laughter as it highlighted what Digital Alliance is about, what its members should look forward to, and fun games with prizes!.

Jeremiah Cristobal, DA’s Head of Communications, and Ace Solis, DA’s Treasurer, kicked off the event by welcoming and interviewing some guests on their expectations as members of DA. Then, DA’s Adviser, Mr Jonathan Borja, delivered a short welcoming speech. He reminisced about the last in-person DA General Assembly in 2019 and expressed his delight as this year’s GA is finally back on campus. Mr Borja closed the speech with DA’s tagline: “Get connected, get digital!”

Afterwards, each officer introduced themselves with a short and creative video. Then it was followed by an icebreaker: Guess that baby: DA Edition

For the main feature of the GA, Ethel Anne Topacio, DA’s President, presented their year plan, with its recurring events—Movie Nights; DA Talks – Short Podcast; Cosplay Genesis; and Gamer Oasis—and new events—Project Management Seminar and many collaborative events with other school organizations, within SISFU and outside SISFU. Before the break, the audience played a Kahoot game with questions related to Digital Alliance.

Once they were back, a thrilling and intense game of Jackbox transpired, which everyone surely enjoyed! Then, it was followed by the raffle and important reminders from the president.
