Six students from Southville International School affiliated with Foreign Universities (SISFU) have graduated from De Montfort University (DMU) in the UK, marking a milestone in transnational education and global career pathways. After completing their first two years at SISFU, they transferred directly to DMU in Leicester in August of 2024 to finish their final year of study. Three students pursued Accounting and Business Management, while the others completed BA (Hons) in Business Management. We are pleased to say that their hard work paid off— with four of them graduating with First Class Honours—a distinction that reflects not only academic excellence but also the adaptability and leadership skills nurtured in SISFU’s international learning environment.

These graduates are the product of a university that stands tall in the global education landscape. DMU has been ranked number one in the UK for graduate employability by Times Higher Education (THE), number one in the world for international student satisfaction in the International Student Barometer, and number one in the UK for work experience in the Rate My Placement Awards. On top of that, DMU currently holds a Silver rating in the UK Government’s Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) 2023, which recognizes its consistently high-quality student outcomes and exceptional support for educational development. In addition, all six students were also granted highly sought-after two-year post study work visas, allowing them a pathway to begin building their careers in the UK.
