On 29 January 2026, Southville International School affiliated with Foreign Universities and Southville International School and Colleges paid a courtesy visit to the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) to formally welcome and congratulate Director Dr. Christine Ferrer on her appointment as Director of the International Affairs Service (IAS).
The visit was led by Southville President Dr. Jocelyn P. Tizon, together with Dean Daniel Steel, College Director Astrid De Leon, and Registrar Zheela Montecillo. The meeting also served as an opportunity to clarify matters related to Southville’s De Montfort University (DMU) and Pearson programmes, underscoring the institution’s commitment to regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and international academic excellence.
A highlight of the visit was the formal handover of the CHED ICONS Plaque, personally received by Southville from CHED IAS Director Ferrer, a recognition of the institution’s continued efforts in advancing internationalization and global education partnerships.
