June 27, 2026 marked a milestone filled with pride, gratitude, and celebration as Southville International School Affiliated with Foreign Universities (SISFU) honored the accomplishments of its Senior High School Class of 2026 during a heartwarming graduation ceremony.
The event celebrated not only academic success but also the resilience, determination, and personal growth of every graduate who completed an important chapter of their educational journey.
Celebrating Outstanding Student Achievement
This year’s graduation recognized students who demonstrated exceptional academic excellence and embodied the values of the Southville Global Education Network (SGEN).
The prestigious award recipients were:
- SGEN Gold Medal of Excellence & President’s Merit Award – Sarah Lugod (Information and Communications Technology – ICT)
- SGEN Silver Medal of Excellence – Samuel Caleb Surla (Accountancy, Business and Management – ABM)
- SGEN Bronze Medal of Excellence – Psalm Borines (Accountancy, Business and Management – ABM)
These recognitions reflect not only outstanding academic performance but also leadership, perseverance, and the pursuit of excellence that define the SISFU student experience.
An Inspiring Message from a Proud Alumna
Adding inspiration to the celebration was Ms. Hajer Ashraf Mohamed El Said Abou El Hossein, a Business Management graduate of De Montfort University through SISFU. She said “Who you are today is not who you have to be tomorrow. Understand that skills can be learned, habits can be improved, and weaknesses can be strengths.”
In her heartfelt address, she encouraged graduates to embrace Southville’s 5Cs—Competence, Character, Commitment to Achieve, Collaboration, and Creativity/Innovaton—while developing grit and a growth mindset that empowers them to continuously learn, adapt, and overcome challenges.
Her journey from student to successful alumna reminded graduates that true success is built through lifelong learning, resilience, and the courage to pursue opportunities beyond one’s comfort zone.
A Celebration Filled with Love and Gratitude
One of the most memorable moments of the ceremony came when graduates presented heartfelt gifts, letters, and messages to their parents and families.
The venue was filled with smiles, tears of joy, and warm embraces as students expressed their gratitude to the people who supported them throughout their educational journey. These emotional moments reflected the strong partnership between students, families, and the SISFU community in shaping future leaders.
The Journey Continues at SISFU
While graduation marks the end of Senior High School, for many SISFU graduates, it also represents the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
Several members of the Class of 2026 will continue their education at SISFU as Year 2 students in internationally recognized programmes, including Business degree programmes and Data Analytics.
Thanks to SISFU’s unique academic pathways, these graduates can continue building on the knowledge and skills they have already acquired while pursuing globally recognized qualifications. In just two more years, they will look forward to another proud milestone—their college graduation, earning an international degree that prepares them for careers and opportunities both in the Philippines and around the world.
Building Future Global Professionals
The SISFU Senior High School Graduation 2026 was more than a commencement ceremony—it was a celebration of dreams realized, challenges overcome, and futures waiting to unfold.
As the graduates take their next steps, they carry with them the values, confidence, and global perspective nurtured throughout their time at SISFU. Whether entering university, advancing directly into Year 2 of their degree programmes, or pursuing future careers, the Class of 2026 stands ready to make a meaningful impact in their communities and beyond.
Congratulations to the SISFU Senior High School Class of 2026. Your achievements inspire us all, and your journey toward global success has only just begun.
