The Hospitality Management students of the SFU were proud participants in the Manila Food and Beverage Expo 2013 on June 12-16 at the World Trade Center.

SFU placed 2nd in the Table Setting Competition. Students Ruf Salvador, Jayvee Alincomot, Eliza Belle Dampor, Eriko Visitacion, and Luisito Barcelon participated, all coached by Ms. Christine Villacarlos.

It again placed 2nd in the Cheesecake category which had Japanese cuisine as its theme. Students Fhred Batalona and Jewel Umali were coached by Chef Jan Viray.

Finally, SFU placed 3rd for the Market Basket Category which had Japanese for its table setting. Students Matthew Henares, Leanne Cerrero, Celemyrr Allera, and Mark Trangia were coached by Chef Alvin John Eugenio.
