11 November – SISFU welcomed 92 student participants for the Preliminary Round of Global Dimensions Olympiad (GDO), the search for SISFU scholars. 

Emerging finalists from this round will face each other in a battle of wits during the GDO Finals on 17 February 2018. Winners of the competition will be awarded SISFU scholarship grants for the academic year 2018-2019. 

Participants for the preliminary round hail from 22 schools across Luzon – from Baguio, Batangas, Cavite, Laguna and Metro Manila.

GDO has endowed SISFU with some of our brightest students who have made their marks at our partner schools in Australia and the United Kingdom. Being the pioneer provider of transnational education in the Philippines, we believe that such quality learning should be attainable for those who have the drive to become global champions. This competition aims to open opportunities for those who deserve to achieve that goal.
