
An event jointly sponsored by the Rotary Club of Makati-Salcedo, six finalists competed for the grand prize of P40,000, the Best Business Plan Award, and potential venture capital funding by Rotarian Business Leaders present. The diverse and distinguished judging panel included James F. Lago, President of Rotary Club of Makati-Salcedo, Jesse Divinagracia Jr., Head of Operations at Streamtech Systems, Dr. Marl Ferenal, President of Southville International School and Colleges, and more. Competitors were challenged in a dynamic Q&A to justify their Business Plan, to prove its viability and worth, while remaining cool under pressure to earn the top prize. While a supportive atmosphere, the contestants faced down questions from the audience as well including honored guests like Dr. Simon Hill of De Montfort University, UK and Ms. Edna Angeles of PhilAm Life, Rotarian.
The winners of the event were:

Champions: PATTS College of Aeronautics with their entry, ILOG-ISTICS

1st Runner-Up: St. Louis University with their entry, SPARTA – GAS TE CATA
2nd Runner-Up: Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges with their entry, ANCHOVY CASSAVA CHIPS
Honorable mentions go to those remaining finalists who faced withering questioning from the judges; but held fast and made their pitch. The other finalists were:
