“I am very much enjoying my hotelier life!” – these are the words of Juliana Felicia Marcial, SISFU graduate and proud bearer of a Pearson diploma in Hotel Management. She is currently an intern at Okada Manila’s Corporate Marketing and Communications Department. 

As part of her internship journey at Okada, Julliana has been able to work very closely with the other departments of the busy integrated resort. In dealing with the back of the house operations, guest-facing roles at events, and assisting at various meetings and shoots, she had been able to gain a holistic hotel experience so early into her career. 

Thanks to these early experiences and the knowledge she has gained at SISFU, Juliana has learned that in order to succeed, one must always strive to be a proactive learner who is always willing to assist and promptly take action even if they are unfamiliar. “Always having that can-do attitude is really important for me to learn and grow for the better as I become more capable and reliable”.

Julianna is currently preparing to take on the next 500 hours of her internship with the Front Office and Guest Services department of Okada. SISFU is proud to call Julianna one of our own as she will certainly make a positive contribution to Okada and the hotel industry in the years to come!
