Every great story begins with a moment of courage — that single decision to take a chance on something bigger than yourself. For Jedric Ramos, a proud graduate of Southville International School affiliated with Foreign Universities (SISFU) and De Montfort University (DMU), Leicester, that moment changed his life forever.
“When I started at De Montfort University through SISFU, I thought I’d only pass and never stand out. The easier path was to stay in the Philippines—but a small voice told me to take the risk,” Jedric recalls.
That decision led him to a transformative journey — from the classrooms of SISFU in the Philippines to the historic city of Leicester in the United Kingdom. Through SISFU’s UK Degree Pathway, Jedric completed his first two years locally and transferred to De Montfort University for his final year.
It was there that he not only earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with 2nd Class Honours, but also discovered resilience, purpose, and a newfound confidence.
“When I graduated with Upper Second Class Honours, I realized I had gained more than a diploma — I had gained resilience, purpose, and a story worth telling,” he shares.
His journey is a reflection of SISFU’s mission — to nurture students who are educated to innovate and driven to lead. Jedric’s success is not just his own; it’s a celebration of the SISFU community that inspires young dreamers to think beyond borders and embrace the world with courage.
At SISFU, education goes beyond the classroom. It’s about building stories of global success — one bold step at a time.
Be bold. Trek your path. Dream big.
