The Contest is open to all single and female citizens of the Philippines:

• 17 year to 24 years old. Preferably (5) feet and six (6) inches tall.
• Must be of good moral character, must possess charm, poise, and personality; and must have beauty of face and figure.
• Must have the ability to show compassion and intelligence, and to speak intelligently in public places.
• Must possess a background which will not likely cause disrepute to the contest, or the Miss World title.
