SFU began with a pioneering goal of institutionalizing the delivery of transnational education to students in the Philippines as a response to a globalizing world. “A Day in the Life of the Philippines” Photo Competition is a representation of what SFU believes in, that everyday activities of those residing in the Philippines are conforming to the rapidly globalizing international environment.

This endeavor will be SFU’s first annual celebration of life through a photo contest, and hopefully, this activity will be sustained in the long term. Moreover, through this photo contest, SFU hopes to bring the faculty, staff and students as one strong unit in celebrating the 13th Anniversary of the university.
