SISFU and De Montfort University Strengthen Ties with CHED for Transnational Education Excellence

In a continued effort to strengthen ties and foster powerful collaboration for educational excellence, SISFU and De Montfort University held a fruitful discussion last May 17, 2024 with the Philippines’ Commission on Higher Education’s (CHED) Atty. Lily Freida M. Milla. SISFU and De Montfort University’s consistent work towards transnational education in the country was at the forefront of the discussion with remarkable outcomes at 40% of programme graduates earning Summa Cum Laude or first-class honours degrees and an all-high 98% employability rate.

SISFU was represented by its President, Dr. Jocelyn Tizon, Executive Vice President, Dr. Nancy de Guia, and Dean for Academics and Sr. Director for Strategies and Linkages, Mr. Daniel Steel along with De Montfort University’s Associate Dean International, Mr. Ian Thomas.

With efforts like this, SISFU further commits to strengthen its relations with CHED to bolster transnational education for the Filipino.
