Global Dimensions Olympiad (GDO) Scholarship
SISFU offers scholarships to students with exceptional high school academic records. There are two main pathways for students to apply for a scholarship. The primary method is through the Global Dimensions Olympiad (GDO), an annual exam administered by a professional testing body. This exam is open to all high school seniors.
Scholarship Application Process and Requirements:
- To qualify for a 50% scholarship, students must achieve a weighted average score of 80 on the GDO exam, with no grades lower than 80 in Math and English.
- For the 100% scholarship, candidates must be either the Valedictorian or Salutatorian and must achieve a GDO weighted average score of at least 88, with no grades lower than 88 in Math and English.
- Final scholarship decisions will be based on interviews conducted by the SISFU management team.
Non-Global Dimensions Olympiad (GDO) Scholarship
Students may also apply for a scholarship without going through the GDO process. In this case, they are required to take a scholarship exam administered by the Asian Psychological Services and Assessment (APSA). To qualify for the Non-GDO scholarship exam, applicants must have a weighted average of 85 during their final year of high school, with no grade lower than 80.
Non-GDO Scholarship Requirements:
- For a 50% scholarship, the student must achieve a weighted average of 80 in the scholarship exam, with no grades lower than 80 in Math and English.
- For a 100% scholarship, the applicant must be a candidate for Valedictorian or Salutatorian and attain a weighted average of 88, with no grades lower than 88 in Math and English in the scholarship exam.
