Global Dimensions Olympiad (GDO) Scholarship
For nearly two decades, SISFU has collaborated with the Rotary Club of Makati-Salcedo in the enlistment of gifted scholars through the Global Dimensions Olympiad (GDO) Competition.
The GDO academic contest is SISFU’s vehicle in selecting the best minds in the country for scholarships. Over the years, hundreds of SISFU GDO scholars have become leaders in their fields, successful managers, entrepreneurs, and educators within the Philippines and around the world.
The GDO scholarship paved the way for students from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao to start their journey as SISFU students. One of the scholars, Ms. Jean Baldado who then was awarded a grant at Oxford Brooks in the UK and graduated there with high honours. The GDO has been a blessing to hundreds of highly motivated and brilliant students who otherwise could not afford to study in prestigious institution like SISFU.
Requirements: Students who belong to the top 10 of their class with a minumum GPA of 86% (1stQ or Term 1),grade and above can participate in the scholarship examination (preliminary round). Participants for the Final competition will be identified by the SISFU professional testing partner.
Students who will join the scholarship search will be eligible for a special scholarship grant on the tuition fee upon enrolment in SISFU and may be granted an even HIGHER scholarship from 50% to 100% on the tuition fee.
Academic Scholarship (Non-Global Dimensions Olympiad)
Students may apply for academic scholarship without going through the GDO process. Applicant will take a scholarship examination administered by the Asian Psychological Services and Assessment (APSA), provided they have a GPA at least 86% (1stQ or Term 1), with no grade lower than 80.
