SFU’s Hotel Management and Culinary Arts students teamed-up once again to delight the taste buds of their guests.
Already a tradition at the Bistro Lima, SFU’s student operated fine dining restaurant, students showcased distinguished Italian, Thai, Hawaiian and Japanese cuisines from March 27-30, 2012. Each day a new national cuisine is exhibited, the ambiance and overall setting of Bistro Lima is changed to match the theme. Students of the School of Hospitality Management (SOHM)
prepared and served a host of dishes that did not just please the eyes of their customers but also gave them gastronomic enjoyment.
The annual event forms part of the training of SOHM’s students in the areas of catering and buffet service. The activity does not only improve students’ skills but also orients them on the various food cultures around the world.
