Over the past 18 years, Southville International School Affiliated with Foreign Universities (SISFU) in partnership with the Rotary Club of Makati Salcedo, have worked together in search for the top scholars; The Global Dimensions Olympiad (GDO) is an annual event in which an academic quiz bee competition is held among the top qualified High Schools from schools nation-wide.

The GDO finals, held last February 26th 2018, consisted of questions in various categories such as Philippine history, science, mathematics, general knowledge and current events, hosted by the Rotary Club of Makati Salcedo, led by President Emil Ramos along with the Rotarians supervising different roles as quiz master, judge, time keeper, etc.

Twenty-nine young achievers battled head to head for the grand prize of a 100% scholarship grant. The finalists included Senator Cayatano High School with 1st place, followed by St. Therese School with 2nd and South Mansfield College with 3rd place, joining the finals were also Diosdado Macapagal High School, Southville International School and Colleges and Las Piñas Science High School.As the years go by, the number of contestants have grown, to date, SISFU has close to 100 GDO graduates, spread all over the world leading successful careers.
