Southville International School Affiliated with Foreign Universities (SISFU) recently had an opportunity to share the life-changing benefits that a transnational education can offer. Last November 20, 2025, Grades 10 to 12 students and their parents were invited to an informational and eye-opening session with esteemed partners from De Montfort University UK (DMU).

The event started with welcome remarks by Mr. Daniel Steel, Dean of Academics for SISFU. It was then followed by the much awaited masterclass entitled “Your Story, Your Future: How a UK Education Prepares You To Lead The World” delivered by Ms. Nas Harrison, FHEA, CMBE, Associate Professor in Transnational Education for DMU. During the talk, she explained the advantages of having a UK education and how SISFU and DMU can together help shape a bright future anywhere in the world.

It was then followed by talk by Ms. Aamena Meidell, Senior Partnerships Officer of Global Partnerships for DMU. She spoke about student life through the DMU Mobility Programme wherein students gather from all over the world creating a unique learning experience which blends academic and culture.
