SISFU Students trains with an International Chef

Southville International School affliated with Foreign Universities (SISFU) is committed to continuously provide our students additional learning opportunities through various training workshops and hands-on experiences. In line with this, SISFU was privileged to have the incoming head chef for Marriott Club Son Antem Mallorca in Spain, Chef Jason Pido.

The workshop on ‘Molecular Gastronomy and Food textures’ highlighted a series of difficult and detailed recipes such as the Bloody Mary Emulsion, Torched Peach with Goats Cheese Mousse and Mango, Carrot and Ginger Sphere. It was then followed by a food tasting segment wherein SISFU culinary students were able to distinguised the ingredients used, flavors and textures of the recipes. SISFU culinary students were also able to acquire new set of skills through the demonstrations by Chef Pido.
